To start the package, we will start in São Luís,
followed by a transfer leaving the hotel/ airport
for accommodation in Barreirinhas. The night
will be free, rest for the beginning of the tours.
After breakfast, we will have our first tour,
scheduled for 8:30 am. We will board a Toyota
4×4 to do the Lagoa Azul Circuit. To do this, we
left the inn in Barreirinhas in a 4×4 towards
Lagoas dos Lençóis Maranhenses. Once there,
we will start a 40-minute walk to the Lagoa
Azul, where we will have stops to appreciate
the place and take a bath. During the journey,
we will pass lakes and dunes, in addition to
having a guide present, to provide us with all
the necessary information. Return is
scheduled for 1pm. Then, at 2pm, we will have
the next tour, which will be the Lagoa Bonita
Circuit. Starting in Barreirinhas, we will leave
the guesthouse in a 4×4 to a ferry on the
Preguiças River. Then, we will continue on the
route for another 1 hour, where we will receive
instructions from a guide to learn more about
all the lagoons in the region. Return is
scheduled for late afternoon. At night, we will
not have scheduled activities.
On the third day, we will have our first activity
at 9 am, where we will take a boat trip along
the Preguiças River, known as Caboré.The tour
starts by leaving the inn towards the port in
the city center, where we will board a
speedboat to go to the village of Vassouras.
During the tour, we can see the local fauna and
flora, as well as the great monkeys that live in
the region.
Next, we will stop at Vila de Mandacaru, where it
will be possible to climb to Farol das Preguiças, to
have a panoramic view of Lençóis Maranhense, the
Caboré River and the Atlantic Ocean.
Soon after, we will arrive at Caburé Beach for lunch
and swimming in the sea.
Departure is scheduled for 2:30 pm, where we will
arrive in Barreirinhas around 4 pm.
Then, we collect our bags at the inn and leave in a
private vehicle for Parnaíba, Piauí, where we will
spend the night.
On the fourth day, we will begin our tours at 2pm,
where we will go to the Parnaíba Delta to see the
Revoada dos Guarás.
We will leave the inn towards Porto dos Tatus in a
private vehicle to board a speedboat to see the bird
ballet.
In the Parnaíba Delta, the flight of the guarás is one
of the most beautiful and important spectacles that
tourists can see, as they are in the same region
every evening.
Then, we will leave Porto dos Tatus, where we take
a speedboat, with capacity for up to 5 people,
towards Ilha do Caju. On the way, we will see
several islands, such as Ilha do Bananal, Zimbrana,
Guirindó, Engraça, Manguinho, Morro do Meio and
Ilha das Cobras, where we will pause to see the
most beautiful flight in the Parnaíba Delta.
Return is scheduled for 6pm. At night, we will not
have scheduled activities.
After breakfast, we will have our first tour, at
7am, where we will pass by the main beaches
on the coast of Piauí: Praia do Coqueiro, Praia
do Macapá, Praia do Peito de Moça and Praia
de Atalaia.
The return is scheduled for 2pm, where we will
check out at the inn and leave for Jericoacoara
where we will spend the night. At night, we will
not have any scheduled activities.
After breakfast, we will have an incredible
buggy ride along the east coast of
Jericoacoara, where we will pass through
several locations, such as Lagoa do Paraíso,
Buraco Azul, Lagoa Azul, Praia do Preá and
Árvore da Falha.
Furthermore, we can also see the Blue Hole, a
lagoon with incredible waters. Another
interesting tour in this part is to
visit Pedra Furada.
The return is scheduled for 2pm, where we will
return to the inn to check out.
We will then depart on a private transfer to
Parnaíba, where
we will check in at the guesthouse.
After breakfast at the inn, we will have our first
activity, where we will take a buggy ride
through the west zone of Jericoacoara. We will
pick you up at guesthouse, where we will walk
7 km along the beach. The first stop is the
village of Guriü, where we will see several
mangroves and giant roots, as well as take a
ferry to take us to the west bank. On the other
side, we will have an (optional) tour of the
Seahorse Ecopark, made up of 8 km of dunes.
Then, we will go to Lago Grande, where we can
find stalls to eat and some hammocks in the
water to relax.
The return to Jericoacoara is scheduled for
2pm. Finally, we will leave Jericoacoara and
depart in a private vehicle to Fortaleza.
