Finally, we’ll visit the capital of Paraguay, Asunción, where you’ll discover the key tourist attractions of this colorful South American city before returning to Iguazu.

Foz do Iguazu – Arrival at Foz do Iguazu or Puerto Iguazu airport, meet your guide, and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and the rest of the day at leisure.
Foz do Iguazu After breakfast, visit the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls with a trip to the Bird Park. Start your journey from the hotel to Iguazu Falls, located 24 km from Foz do Iguaçu’s center. Arrive at the Visitor Center, located 10 km from Iguazu Falls, right at the entrance of Iguazu National Park.
The Visitor Center offers excellent infrastructure with photographic exhibitions of Iguazu Falls, maps of the National Park, and a large souvenir shop, restrooms, a medical post, ticket sales for the park, an ATM, and more. After visiting the Visitor Center, the tour continues by bus within the National Park, following a road leading to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. The walk along the walkway is approximately 1 km long and offers panoramic views of the falls and, finally, a fantastic approach to the Devil’s Throat and the main falls. The tour ends at the upper part of Iguazu Falls, which can be accessed by stairs or the panoramic elevator. From there, continue along the walkway to Porto Canoas, where you can enjoy views of the Iguazu River before it plunges into the immense falls. In addition to the restaurant, the area has a snack bar, craft shops, restrooms, and a medical center. At the end of the tour, the vehicle will take you back to the visitor center, and from there, you will visit the Bird Park. The Bird Park: Located on Avenida das Cataratas, in front of the Visitor Center of Iguaçu National Park and 14 km from the city center. The visit is done through marked trails in the middle of the jungle that leads to different aviaries, each of which is 630 m² and 8 meters high, enriched with waterfalls, bridges, and lots of vegetation where you can observe the behavior of different bird species from Brazil and other regions of the world. There are also nurseries with butterflies, hummingbirds, and various reptiles, from turtles and alligators to large constrictor snakes. The park houses over 900 birds of 150 species, most of which are Brazilian birds. One-third of the species are considered endangered. All animals in the park were authorized by the Brazilian Zoological Society and IBAMA (Brazilian Institute of the Environment). After the visit, return to the hotel.
Foz do Iguazu / Encarnación After

Encarnación / Asunción After breakfast, transfer to Trinidad to visit the Jesuit Reductions of Trinidad del Paraná and Jesús de Tavarangue. Trinidad is one of the most interesting and suggestive Jesuit ruins among all. Its main architects were Father Juan Bautista Prímoli, from Milan, and the Catalan José Grimau. Although not entirely finished, this mission had one of the largest and most beautiful churches. Jesús de Tavarangué is located almost in front of Trinidad, and its church was not completed due to the expulsion of the Jesuits from the country. Its architectural design was completely different from the others, in Moorish style, unique in all reductions. Both Reductions were declared a World Heritage Site in 1993 by UNESCO. After the visit, we start our journey to Asunción, located 360 km away. Arrival, transfer to the selected hotel, and accommodation.
Asunción / Foz do Iguazu – Breakfast. Panoramic city tour with a picturesque combination of modern and colonial architecture, including the city center and residential areas, the House of Independence, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government Palace, the National Pantheon of the Heroes, ending at the popular handicraft market La Recova. In the afternoon, transfer to Foz do Iguazu, located 320 km to the east. Cross the borders and transfer to Foz do Iguaçu airport. End of services.
