We begin our journey departing from the pier on the Rio Negro River. As we sail down the river, you’ll be treated to picturesque views of Manaus’ floating port, the distinctive Amazonian boats, and the bustling Municipal Market. A short while into the journey, we’ll witness the astonishing Meeting of the Waters, where the dark Negro and the muddy Solimões rivers merge to form the mighty Amazon River. We’ll make a brief stop to observe this natural wonder. Then, we’ll navigate up the Negro River until we reach the Janauari Ecological Park, known for its famous aquatic plant, the Victoria Regia (Lily pad). We’ll also explore the igarapés (creeks) of the Negro and Solimões rivers, with the option of a jungle stroll during the dry season (from February to September). Lunch is provided at a floating restaurant, and you’ll have a chance to visit Indian handicraft stores. Please note that drinks are not included, and if the tour is conducted by speedboat, the total duration will be shorter.
