Embarkation (PM): Begin your Grand Amazon Cruise adventure with a late afternoon embarkation in Manaus. Settle into your luxurious cabin, watch the Amazon sunset from the top deck, and enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner with the open bar policy.

Jaraqui Stream & Tres Bocas Island (AM): Start with a Sunrise Lovers’ breakfast or the buffet in the Kuarup Restaurant. Explore the Jaraqui region, with options for a skiff tour or a guided jungle hike to learn about local plants and trees. Enjoy an Amazon lecture and lunch on the terrace. In the late afternoon, board skiffs to explore the Anavilhanas archipelago, featuring lush vegetation, orchids, and birdwatching. After dark, spot caimans from the skiffs.

Cuieiras River & Ariaú Region (AM): Enjoy breakfast with a view as the Grand Amazon arrives at the Cuieiras River. Visit the Cambebas indigenous village by skiff and foot, learn about their way of life, visit the school, and shop for handicrafts. (PM): Attend a lecture on Amazonian Fish, then try your hand at piranha fishing in the Ariaú region, known for its wildlife and bird species. Alternatively, visit a local farm. Enjoy dinner and onboard entertainment. Join a night tour by motorboat to spot alligators and experience the Ariaú region’s night sounds.

Praia Grande & Rubber Tapping Museum (AM): Join an optional pre- breakfast birding excursion by skiff. After breakfast, head to Praia Grande to swim in the Rio Negro and interact with pink Amazon river dolphins. Attend a lecture on Amazon Birds. (PM): Visit the Rubber Tapping Museum to learn about the region’s rich history. Enjoy a gala dinner with Amazon dancing as a celebration.

Disembarkation (AM): Witness the Meeting of the Waters at sunrise, where the Rio Negro and Solimões meet but don’t mix. Head to the Manaus port for disembarkation.
